Things to keep in mind before going to Egypt?

If you are going to visit Egypt, First of all, Egyptians are the friendliest and warmest people in the world. They will go out of their way to help you in anyway you need. If you are traveling here for the first time, remember to dress somewhat modestly if you are a lady and even if you are a man. 

A good rule of thumb is a comfortable pair of jeans, long sleeved t-shirt of 100% cotton, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses and don’t forget the sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Bring some thing you are sure will fit you properly and some thing that you have already worn that you know will be comfortable. From mid April until mid September it is very Very hot. It can get up to 114° and you don’t want to be caught out in the sun. Always have plenty of water on hand. 

A nice long skirt is nice for evening here if you were going out to dinner or something like that. A nice long cotton skirt is sometimes more comfortable than jeans when you are visiting places like Valley of the Kings.
