What Dollar Equal in Egyptian Pounds

After the central bank announced it was changing its policy to adopt a more flexible currency system, which assisted the government in securing a deal with the International Monetary Fund, the value of the Egyptian pound fell.

According to data provided by Bloomberg, the pound declined 15% to a new low of 23.16 against the dollar in offshore trading, exceeding the extent of its decline on March 21. Additionally, the central bank increased interest rates on official borrowing by 200 basis points.
